Shaid Luqman, also widely known as Shahid Luqman, is the Chairman of Damaan Group, the real estate developer behind Damaan City on Main Multan Road, Lahore. With more than three decades of experience in property investment and finance across the United Kingdom, Europe and the Middle East, he brings international standards to Pakistan's growing housing market and is leading Damaan Group towards a new era of luxury living in Pakistan.
An Early Start in Property
Shaid Luqman's journey in real estate began while he was studying finance at the University of Manchester. As a student, he bought his first house and steadily grew his holdings, and by the time he graduated in 1991 he owned a portfolio of 24 flats and houses. That early, hands-on approach to property investment still defines how he leads Damaan Group today.
Building a Property Finance Business in the UK
In 2000, Shaid Luqman founded Pearl Holdings, a property finance company that provided fast bridging finance to investors and developers, moving quickly where traditional banks could not. The firm served entrepreneurs, property investors and high-profile clients from offices in Manchester, London, Switzerland and Saudi Arabia.
In 2004, his business achievements were recognised when he was named Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young, one of the world's most respected business awards. He also featured on the Sunday Times Rich List.
